How the Course Works

Our VTCT Skills Level 4 Core of Knowledge course is delivered entirely online, allowing you to study at your own pace from anywhere in the UK. Once enrolled, you'll receive immediate access to our comprehensive learning platform, where you'll work through a series of engaging modules covering laser physics, safety legislation, tissue interaction, risk assessment and the core principles of safe laser and IPL practice.

Throughout the course, you'll have access to downloadable learning materials, revision resources and mock examination questions to help reinforce your understanding and prepare you for the final assessment.

When you feel ready, you'll complete the externally set VTCT Skills multiple-choice theory examination. Upon successful completion, you'll be awarded the nationally recognised VTCT Skills Level 4 Core of Knowledge for Laser & Light Devices qualification, enabling you to progress onto practical laser and IPL training and providing the theoretical knowledge expected for safe and compliant laser practice.
